I touch myself sometimes. The Dickensian aspect handles the aftermath.

It varies by operating system and locale. It's really annoying, actually.

Re: The Weapon Shop
question: how do you open the weapons in game on mac? You replace the game's original models and textures in the .app package. Right-click Lugaru.app in a Finder, "Show Package Contents"; a new Finder pops up, browse that. Look for the folders "Models/" and "Textures/"...

Re: Blender 2.49b Vs. Blender 2.58
If you're just now entering the world of Blender, 2.58 is the better choice. If you have a lot of stuff that relies on things in 2.49, such as custom Python junk, or are extremely accustomed to 2.49's way of doing things, then you'll have a tough transfer, but it'll be worth it in the end. The thing...

Re: Lugaru Map Import / Export scripts for Blender
The objects are probably not where you're looking! They usually end up being far away from the absolute center. To align your viewport camera to your objects: After importing, press . (the dot) on your Numpad, and the viewport camera centers on the objects. Or you can press Home on your keyboard. If...

Re: Lugaru Model Import / Export scripts for Blender
I've ported the Lugaru Model Import / Export scripts to Blender's 2.58 Python API. Get them here: http://www.alice-dsl.net/wolf.mathwig/tools/py/ 2.58 note: Put the scripts into Blender's addons folder and activate them in the User Preferences Panel. Edit: Oh, the 2.58 scripts fall under GPL v3. The...

Re: UV Mapping
If you want a really good and efficient UV map, you'll have to hand-tweak a lot of stuff. As you can see, the automatic unwrappers get some things wrong.
To achieve better unwrapping, it is advisable to at least work with UV seams.

Re: UV Mapping
I can only guess, but it looks like you only selected specific vertices and unwrapped them with some automatic unwrapper built into Blender. And that unwrapper messed up the mapping.
Unwrapping is only being applied to the currently selected vertices.
Which unwrapping method did you choose?
