Re: Wish Lists

The weak-spot/strong spot aspect of armor could be a little odd with the auto-aim style of OG controls-- where you don't have just a specific button for a specific strike. It'd be fun to mod in some cross-hair style manual aim for knife throwing-- so you'd fail if you didn't nail 'em in th head or s...

Re: Female Characters

Now, as a woman I have a natural interest in this issue, and I want females in the game. And since females amongst most animals are just as violent, or capable of violence, as the males I see no reason to differentiate between how male and female populate the game. Enemies and civilians should all ...

Oh, now that's nice. Secret* from You, you mean. Here's my fav from the wiki enty: "While negotiations are secret, a number of corporations are part of advisory committees of the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) and have access to classified documents." The future is...

Re: Ancestral Tales Campaign

Thanks, chewy1234. Glad you're having fun. :D I don't think I'll remake it in OG; although the platforming would probably be more popular, I guess. =p It's such a ton of work, and I have new story ideas as well as other crazy art projects to go along with my semi-defunct music habit and my full time...

Re: Female Characters

Yeah, what bugs me isn't just the boobtacular armor and clothes, it's that it just pushes me out of the story because it looks unreal. Any actual woman fighting wouldn't put up with it for a second, any more than any man fighting would, so dumb armor just looks dumb on anyone, and anti-immersive. No...

Re: Megaupload.com and it's founder

Yeah, I bet the cops were worried they were going to run into rich gamer with an FPS Russian hobby and like, a rocket launcher or some crazy minigun fed by a backpack full of ammo. I guess it's possible he was suspicious it wasn't real cops-- like it was some gangsters yelling that they were cops......

Megaupload.com and it's founder

 Ok, so there was a big bust last week of the filesharing site, and I never used it, but the picture at the top of this article made me laugh. Good luck fighting the courts, Mr. Dotcom.

Re: S.O.P.A. (Stop Online Piracy Act) could censor the Inter

The so-called blackout day to protest anti-piracy legislation is “abuse of power given the freedoms these companies enjoy in the marketplace today,” Christopher Dodd, chairman of the Motion Picture Association of America, said today in an e-mailed statement. I want to punch him in the face. What do...

Re: S.O.P.A. (Stop Online Piracy Act) could censor the Inter

Whats NDAA? (this isn't just to prove your point) That would be the law that allows the U.S. govt to detain anyone they want to, even US citizens arrested on US soil ... Hold up, hold up, EVEN US citizens? That's messed up man, the law EVEN allows them to arrest the only people they should be allow...

Whats NDAA? (this isn't just to prove your point) That would be the law that allows the U.S. govt to detain anyone they want to, even US citizens arrested on US soil, for any reason they say is a good one, for as long as they want to without a trial, access to a lawyer, or any other due process.
