It's called franchise milking. As long as there is a steady stream of foul-mouthed 12-year-olds ready to buy anything with the word 'Halo' on it, there will be more Halo things, regardless of quality or even plot sense.

The only thing I heard related to this is that Apple's RAM costs a shit-ton, so it is preferable to upgrade using third party RAM.

As opposed to a nonarbitrary RPG system? I think XP would be a nice multiplayer feature, but not to affect strength. Hedgewars is planning to add a multiplayer account experience system similar to Guild Wars PvP; the more experienced you are, the cooler taunts you can do. It does not affect strength...
