This is a fun little prototype. :) The only issue I've noticed so far is a pretty minor one -- when changing maps with Turner mode on, you have to toggle it on/off again to get him to come back. Otherwise, you'll be the black bunny (Robbert?).

Since all the animals in the game so far seems to live in North America and Europe, I doubt we'd be seeing any apes, tigers, or kangaroos.

Is there any precedent in the engine for dealing with ammo, reloading, or chambering (e.g. bolt action)? I don't know if you're using Blender or not, and what version if so, but in 2.49 there's a "consolidate into one image" option in the UV image editor window. Btw, I uploaded my unwrapped version of your model in my last post -- not sure if you saw it before you posted.

EDIT: Also, how the hell am I supposed to unwrap that thing? Approximately like this, I suppose: korban3's gun with seams.jpg You want the seams to be where they won't be seen very much, i.e. on the underside of the gun and where the hands will be covering them. gun_ao.png Edit: Here's my unwrapped...

The thing that bugs me the most about software piracy is the sense of entitlement that it implies. "I deserve to not have to do anything to earn this game -- I should just have it because I'm a unique and beautiful snowflake or something."

I'm pretty sure the whole point of the choke is that it is non-lethal, so that would defeat the purpose. :P

So far, yes. Last I checked, they hadn't done a whole lot of planning on the story itself, so I wouldn't count on anything yet.

Well we already have throwing, chokeholds, and tethered movement, so that's certainly a good start. I wouldn't be surprised to see a little more grappling, since I seem to recall that at least some of the Wolfire team were into judo. I would definitely like to see the grappling be a little more dirt...

Well, Lugaru had bloody noses and such, and I believe those were hinted at in the latest alpha video as being a future possibility... but scrapes would be nice too.
