May alpha updater isn't working. It gets stuck at anywhere from 5-20%, and I have to kill the process. It doesn't save the progress either after I quit, so I can't get it downloaded.

People are probably upset at pirates because they get to play the game for free, while we have to pay $30 for that privilege. Also, Wolfire needs all the support they can get, and even if one person pirating the game doesn't seem like it would make a difference, it does.

Don't get me wrong; the combat is great. But like you said, it could use some tweaks. Maybe I'm just too hardcore for it

After playing with the game for a while, I noticed that it had a different feel from Lugaru. This, of course, isn't bad, but right now the Lugaru fighting system is better imo. What I think the problem is is the active block. It's too hard to get a hit in on the enemy because of it, and it discourag...

All it does is add a bunch of community made maps that you can select at the main menu. So yeah, I would get it, because some of them are fantastic. Keep in mind though, it's 500 mb.

I too have the freezing bug. Is there anywhere to manually download the menu mod?

I like the Project Zomboid approach to their demo. Their still in Pre-Alpha, but they still have a demo of an earlier version of their alpha. If it weren't for that demo, I wouldn't have bought that game.
