Re: Games with interesting Stealth Mechanics

now Vampire Rain is definitly NOT belonging on this list
Metro is a problematic game too, the premise of the stealth sections was great but the execution (as pretty much everything in the game that involves AI or scriots) not all that much...

Re: Games with interesting Stealth Mechanics

Conviction is a decent if extremly silly game sometimes. But it's not exactly a stealth game anymore, it's very action oriented and rather brutal for the wrong reasons :D Maybe I should even suggest Crysis here? You can hide in bushes, crawl, stay out of sight and cloak. AI is pretty decent. Sounds ...

Re:

JC was pretty dull. He was almost a blank slate character. Gordon Freeman with a voice if you will. I don't know if that was intentional or just due to Deus Ex's painfully average voice acting. It was intentional. And it was executed pretty well, you had a place in this world but its details were y...

Re: Games with interesting Combat Mechanics

Well, it's not actually finished well then, where is Elveon? (mentioned a few pages ago). Was never released, but had a really solid weapon based combat system using simple combos and really cool movement. I had the chance to play one of the preview builds back then, it was really sad that the deve...

Re: Games with interesting Combat Mechanics

Me again. :D How about Updating the God of War video, part 3 did actually beat the previous game's combat system, thanks to the extended combat ram (although I fail to find a video for that particular move). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQR6reTiJGA&feature=channel Also recommend adding Bayonet...

Re: Good/Neutral/Evil -- Applied to real life

I am such a social and nice person, it's absurd. So I guess I am "good". However, I have a brutal, dark side, despite I am never acting on it, just drawing strengh from it when I need some. Chanelling agressions when I need motivation, using hatred to keep me working on a particular proble...

Re: Choose Your Weapon!

If the stance and animations are identical, it's the same weapons class to me. And each class should not have more than two or three different weapons with obious visual and gameplay-related differences. One could be bigger but slower and so on.
