Re: ummm... tech support??

Intel Core 2 Duo processor T6400 Two cores, running at 2Ghz each. 64-bit instruction set, SSE up to 4.1, 32kb L1 (dedicated), 2mb L2 (shared). Not the latest in processor technology, but it should suffice for most (non-Crysis) games. Mobile Intel Graphics / Media Accelerator 4500MHD Bottleneck. See...

Re: Spam problems

@kehaar, JacktheawesomeNope: disapproving a post won't ban the user or report them. We mods have to ban users manually, that is by finding their accounts through the memberlist / online list / newest user / birthday / unapproved posts and then banhammer em. It would be nice if we could get a list o...

Re: Spam problems

On a side note: there are a lot of new users, and these users have preordered as well. So it's not only a bunch of spambots registering. ;)

Re: Spam problems

The problem with DNSBL-type solutions is that they have the tendency to produce a non-trivial number of false positives; this can be quite aggravating to the end user and ought to be avoided ;) Well, in the current scenario, all users firsts posts have to be approved. What if you switch to account ...

If it is not possible, I hereby officially request it. But, you can also upload ZIP files to the forums. Re: Spam problems

Yeah, spammers are taking more and more time to deal with. Now, all we have to do is wait until they realize that they can preorder, spam and then approve their own posts! :o At my own forums, I'm working on implementing a combined banning system. That means, we're streaming like 20 banning databas...

Re: where is overgrowth at?

How dare you even think about that. Such a thing will never happen. John (and his beard) just have been quite busy lately, so they haven't appeared in the media. Don't worry, they'll return. ~ Black 90% of teens today would die if Myspace and Facebook had a system failure and were completely destro...

Re: No widescreen, dodgy resolutions, windows 7?

Easy mate, it's not necessary to bump a post if you don't receive an answer within 24 hours. Lugaru is a fairly old game and simply wasn't made to work with widescreen resolutions. Of course, since it was open-sourced some time ago, someone could go and fix it... ~ Black In politics, you have your ...
