Ahh, I see. I was under the impression that this used Safari-only features, not WebKit-only features. Furthermore, I didn't know there were even any WebKit-only features. My bad!

I actually prefer third person in non-gun fighting games. Dynamic melee fighting, like in Lugaru and Overgrowth, often has a lot of head movement, and it's just better to be in third person for that since I imagine it'd be hella disorienting in first person. I think your best bet would be to create these applications you plan on making, and make crappy placeholder art for it. Then you could show it off to people in hopes of finding an artist to spiff it up.
