How to outrun wolves in Insane mode!
Most of you probably know this, but I'd like to share a way I found to outrun the wolves in Insane mode, where they can animal-run. Simply hold down Shift, Space, and W, and the rabbit will continuously crouch-jump. He only needs to land for a fraction of a second, but the next jump is still from a ...

Re: How to replace knives with swords and throw them!
But you'd still throw it from the side, instead of overhand, right?

Re: New idea for a campaign
Yeah, that definitely sounds nice. Hopefully we'll be able to do something to the code to make a more interesting environment for the arena (like the spikes).

Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
The Seven Tasks is awesome!!! It was the last mod I downloaded, but in terms of level design, I think it's the best ever! (Empire has the best story, in my opinion, but it's close.) The monastery level is the single best level in Lugaru ever, and the zombie one is really awesome and creative. The De...

Re: Overgrowth Level Edito
Awesome!
One other thing that would be nice (I don't think they have this yet) is letting NPCs have default behavior more complex than just moving, and be affected by the player in ways other than attacking.

Re: Overgrowth Level Edito
That looks cool! I can't wait to start playing around with it.
I hope they'll add more flexibility, so we can create minigames. Examples could be throwing knives (or shooting arrows if they have it) or destroying some number of training dummies in a certain time.

Overgrowth Level Edito
Hopefully, Wolfire will start on the Overgrowth level editor (not the map editor) soon. We can post our ideas here. I'm hoping the editor will have the ability to create intelligent levels; actions such as killing someone, finding an object, going to a place, or choices asking for input can trigger ...

Re: Cinematic Replays
That would be so awesome. One of the best things about Lugaru is that fights are usually won elegantly, and it would rock to be able to watch them afterwards (and show off to others ).

Re: Open Source Ideas
Another idea I had that'd be pretty cool is positioning for map objects. I think it'd be pretty simple: we'd just need two new object parameters (along with size, type, rotation, etc.) for Positionx and Positiony. Then the code would be changed so that instead of using the character's position with ...

Open Source Ideas
Anyone have cool ideas for adding to the Lugaru source code? Weapons? Moves? Anything?
I think something called a club would be nice: like a staff, weaker, but harder to disarm.
