Re: Schedule
One person casted a 'Doubt that OG will be released by mid-2009' spell on Jeff. Jeff, who has a considerably low WIS score, failed his Will saving throw and was successfully targeted by this spell so he then suffered from the Rage status ailment which caused him to remove the release date until a la...

Re: DirectX Support
I don't see a reason why. It would take a bunch of time to get it working, to only give a small speed boost. OpenGL works fine on Windows. Not with all graphics cards, particularly ATI ones. No doubt a big reason why Macs only come with NVIDIA graphics cards. In any case, I imagine that translating...

Re: Can you Imagine DMM technology in Overgrowth?
The wall that the dev's experimented used some kind of cellular automata to determine which bricks should fall when shot. This isn't really how DMM works. DMM deforms dynamically, rather than using specifc blocks to fall. Implementing DMM in OverGrowth would either be extremely difficult or very ex...

Here's a link to actually buy the book: http://www.amazon.com/Hunger-Games-Suzanne-Collins/dp/0439023483/ That's the most useless referral link ever. It's not even useful to the people you're linking. The people you're referring can't actually buy the book, it just gives you a better chance of winni...

It's so nice seeing people discover that you can find anything on the internet.
As for why Google links to these pages: it's not illegal to.

Re: Can you Imagine DMM technology in Overgrowth?
I'd guess that this is hella expensive, both to license or recreate.
I'd love to see someone recreate this in 2D, though. I'd think that is a lot more feasible to do without big business backing.

BEST freeware fighting game ever? (Vanguard Princess)
Vanguard Princess! It was recently released by Sugeno Tomoaki, a former Capcom artist. The 2D art is the best I have ever seen in a freeware game. The music is awesome, and it's pretty damn fun to play, too! It has modern 2D fighting game graphics, yet has the sweet old-school fighter gameplay where...
