Re: Scriptible Path Nodes

I'm not ordering them like "give it to me now or Turner will slit your throat!" I'm just suggesting, geez. :|

Re: Scriptible Path Nodes

This is a really simple idea, but could help make the engine even more powerful. As of right now when you create a path using nodes and you attach an AI to it, said AI will follow it until their death. What I would like to do is be able to do more then just that. It would be awesome if we could scr...

Re: A Few Ideas

For the issue brought up earlier about the bone breaking and staying broken throughout the game, how about a splint with healing herbs in it that disables your arm for 1 level, and allows use in the next? (Ex. Your bone is broke, you obtain* a splint, it autoequips to you and covers the injury, the...

Agreed! Make that the same for the NPCs.

Re: [IDEAS FOR OVERGROWTH]

Mmm, i'm not sure, if it was a couple of real days, at would be pretty intense wouldn't, especialy it was a gradient like of thing, like if you recently broke your arm, then it would be weaker then stronger on a gradient, and it would affect your speed/blocking ect. I'm not sure of what you mean &q...

Re: [IDEAS FOR OVERGROWTH]

Yeah, that inventory system would be awesome, and it sounds pretty plausable to :D. As for the healing time, prehaps it could be different for different types of wounds, like concussion would leave over a couple of minutes, but broken bones ect would take the respective limb out of action and need ...

Re: [IDEAS FOR OVERGROWTH]

Yeah, thats what i was thinking, having a inventory system and a image of Turner on screen, then being able to click and rag items onto your hero. For instance being able to drag a sheath for a knife onto anyplace that it would fit (leg arm ect). Then you have full control over what goes where and ...

I know that, but is there a way to do a shift-click method?

Re: [IDEAS FOR OVERGROWTH]

You should really be able to pick up another knife/ weapon in your hands once you have sheathed your current one, prehaps even sheath multiple knives ect. Having like 5 or 6 knives hanging off your shirt, and a sword off your back sounds awesome right? Of course! :D What I have always fantasised ab...

Re: A Few Ideas

Just some things that would be handy:
In the editor, you should be able to select multiple objects and be able to edit all of their parameters at once.
It would be nice if we could have more parameters.

(Does anyone have the code for the Jump Height parameter?)

Re: A Few Ideas

I have been thinking about the bone breaking system as well. Though I have this vision of like how in other games where you are not as affected as other NPCs, but that would take away from the realism of the game. Another idea is something that could be implemented while throwing to break a bone in ...

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a170, weekly build

Aww man, I wanted to use Fus Ro Dah in Overgrowth tonight! When I start any game I get a few errors and the game crashes. Something to do with the enemycontrol.as and aschar.as and the splitscreen.
I HAVE sent a bug report.

Re: Combat Ideas

Hello, fellow brainstormers! Don't you think that it would be nice if you could have organized stealth raids? Ex: You have 5 bros on your team. Bro 1 and 2 go and SILENTLY take out sentries along building/castle/Eroded Plateau walls. You wait for the signal. You get it. "I'll take the left.&quo...
