so if i understand this correctly, you want to keep as much as possible of the original aschar.as, then add an include (and also function calls?) to the flying mod scripts. should you then include the modified aschar.as file in your mod? you have modified it to add the stuff, right? otherwise nothin...

it is a node group (multiple nodes combined into one with ctrl+G) you can select it and press tab to see how it is made / works if you had multiple materials for different characters (&textures) you could simply copy this group node without having to copy all the internal nodes also as soon as y...
