Re: Laptops: best Quality/Price?
That's a good point. Buying it and getting this thought out of the way is actually what my father suggests (so I can focus on studing xD). I honestly think too it'd be good to find something now, as free time and price drops are coincident. My biggest worry is that it is an overkill for what I'll do...

Re: Overgrowth Co-op
Yeah. As far as I know the main issue with online multiplayer is the amount of time needed to make it. If I remember well it has something to do with the way OG is coded: to have online multiplayer a good part of the code should be redone from zero, in a different way. I may have not understood well...

From a non-game designer point of view, this is great.

Re: randomness
Speaking of games, may I ask some suggestion in the couch coop category?
Specifically without need for controller: 2 players playing on the same keyboard.
Any good ones?

Re: Looking for user that hasn't bought Og but can go on SPF
I asked the devs to be admitted here to look for help in order to make a mod, which apparently interested them enough to let this slip (I described them the project beforehand). Unfortunately it never saw the light even if Endoperez and Thomason1005 started working on it; my inability to help them a...

You are right. I am sorry to have reacted like that.
I have not been coherent.
About the learning yes, I am a bit scared but as you said it probably will not be such a big obstacle.
Sorry again to have been an internet idiot.

Just wondering, are you really willing to put some effort? ...is this supposed to scare me? As I said: yes, I am willing to put effort into it. It's not like until now learning how to use rpgmaker, garageband , photoshop, documenting on pixel art and maps creation, reading about how to create a cha...

Re: Game Editor Engines
Gamemaker : Looks easy and more versatile than RPGM, but still a bit limited. We would really want to try something 3D with physic and models, after we finish the current game, as we already have a couple of ideas, both "short" and long term. Thanks for the recommendation though, I'll sur...

Game Editor Engines
Hi everybody, I and a a friend of mine are interested in video-game making. We have very little experience, but we are willing to put effort to learn. As for now, we are making a little game with the engine RPG Maker VX Ace Lite . The lite version because we are broke and must use free engines. The ...

Re: randomness
JRPGs in general - I have never finished a Final Fantasy game, so there's probably something right there. Or one of the Tales of ??? games. Or... well, almost any JRPG, really. Maybe Valkyria Chronicles , but it's a war game which suggests it might be on the cynical side of things. And it might tak...

Re: get on with it
so... is the information from IRC directly from the developer himself legit enough? yes, they are working on a campaign, also yes, the new alpha coming soon is also true. This was already official enough, but THAT vvv We are working on the campaign, and hired Jill Ogle to join the team part-time to...
