Nevermind, I think I got an answer for what's going on.

Re: tinyurl4[dot]info redirects from Google
Actually, it's not a virus on my computer. I just scanned last night and it found nothing. The redirect is only coming from Google to those sites, as well. One was one I visit regularly, the other was just a random site I was looking for info on. I tried Googling it (haha), and I'm not the only one ...

tinyurl4[dot]info redirects from Google
Anyone else been having issues with Google links redirecting to tinyurl4[dot]info? Was just wondering what's been going on with that. It's not happening a lot. Just seems to be certain sites every now and then.

Re: Someone who knows something about DOSBox, have a questio
Well, the installation apparently went fine, and it was asking me to start it at the end. I realize I did it wrong, I just don't want it hiding on me.
I had a feeling that it doesn't really "exist" though, seeing as Z: is a virtual drive, no?

Someone who knows something about DOSBox, have a question
So, not quite knowing what I was doing, I tried installing TES: Daggerfall through DOSBox. Seeing as I wasn't sure what to do (I was raised on Macs and DOS is a foreign entity to me), I simply dragged the install app over the DOSBox icon and installed it, meaning, no, C: was not mounted (don't have ...

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 are extremely buggy too. When Mass Effect first came out EVERY critic complained about the bugginess. That clearly makes it an awful game. El oh el. I never touched Mass Effect 2 either, but that was more because I didn't like the first one. It was dull, didn't do what...

Re: Do you still play old games?
I just bought a bunch of games off of sales on GOG.com recently, as well as playing the freebies they hand out. That good enough?

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
So you didn't even play Alpha Protocol either? Tsk tsk. Listening to reviewers is all well and good, but you can only cite them as "I heard this from a reviewer", you can't claim them as your own views. You've never played the game! Not all reviews are written by critics. Included in ther...

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
If he thought Fallout 3 and Oblivion were good games then it's nonsensical to disregard Fallout New Vegas due to buggy animations or scripting. I hated Fallout 3 and got bored with Oblivion after completing the Thieve's Guild quest line. The only thing I had said was that I never ran into any bugs ...

I'm not even going to start on how ironic it is that that's coming from you.Renegade_Turner wrote:You're always really snarky and stuck up about games. Be an optimist.
Not spending time writing up long posts that are going to be picked apart.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Oblivion and Fallout 3 were also not made by the same people that made Alpha Protocol. They also, for the most part, remained bug-free, unless you were searching for issues.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
It says in the info that it was all fixed by turning off anisotropic filtering. What a petty reason to not buy a game. This isn't the only bug Kotaku's heard about. It is one of the best ones, though. The dog eye bug and moonwalking dog are good, too. As are the phantom computers and the ceiling he...

Steel Storm
Pretty fun little episodic shooter. Buying the second episode gets you the source code, as well (EDIT: and modding tools!). I had fun with it, and the higher levels of difficulty can get a little tougher than you'd expect. Haven't tried multiplayer, as I don't have anyone to play with, though. http:...
