Re: Sneaking in Overgrowth
I see people mention that stealth in Lugaru is too slow, but you can actually roll silently, which lets you sneak up on enemies very quickly. You can also jump from far away and land behind an enemy and perform a stealth kill if you're a smooth operator. But yeah, some more stealth options and maneu...

Re: ~Gaining Health~
In Lugaru you regain health by not getting kicked in the head/standing still and resting for a moment, so Overgrowth will probably have a similar dynamic health system. I like the idea of a wolf eating his fallen prey, though. (maybe we will see a return of the "wolfieisgod" cheat?)

Re: Multiplayer in Overgroth
I'm pretty sure the team has said something about co-op, but it'll probably be in challenge-like levels, I think. Anyways, that seems a lot of fun, kicking butt with a friend online. Though kicking his butt will probably be fun as well. : D

Re: An Alternative Dialogue For The Cliff Storyboard
Dialogue Now, this makes the scene more 'natural', I think. It seems to work better with when compressed, as dialogue usally does. Because that is how people usually talk; with less words, not theatrically. Though Overgrowth does take place in a completely different world, so the inhabitants might ...

Re: Voice Acting
Some Source mods use lipsyncing and such, and it is very well done in a lot of machinima movies, like the some of the videos by Lit Fuse for example. And it's not just lipsyincing, the characters are very expressive, so you can make them convey emotion convincingly. 's cool. Anyway, on topic; a lot ...

Re: Voice Acting
WALL OF TEXT But I know I'll eventually just feel like wolfire and OG fell short of their potential. Haha, wow. Really? Honestly, it's not that big of a deal. And modding is easier without having to bother with voices. And custom campaigns won't feel as different (from the offical one) since not ma...

Re: Custom Controls
Yeah, it would be very strange for a computer game to not have customizable controls.
I changed crouch to 'right click' in Lugaru actually, I think it feels better that way.

Re: Voice Acting
I think it helps develop that finished feel for a game and make the product ultimately look much more presentable. Not if the voice acting is bad, which is sadly the case for a lot of games. I don't think Overgrowth needs voice acting. The text and animal sounds worked well in Lugaru. There might b...

"Many years" does not necessarily mean that centuries has passed. d:
It's more likely a couple of years. So Turner is not immortal.

Whoa, dude, calm down! Have you tried reinstalling the game?
PCs can be sorta weird like that, sometimes you get very random problems.
Perhaps you should update your video drivers as well.
Oh, and it's better to contact David directly if you have technical issues with Lugaru.

Haha, that is very cool! Great work!
Though I imagine if you could eat mushrooms in Overgrowth it would probably make you trip balls instead of making you X-BAWKS HUEG.
