Re: Advertise lugaru and overgrowth on fur sites.

Well, I heard some of them don't like it because... I dunno, something along the lines of "Oh noes they hurting all the cuddly fluffybunnies and woofies they are evil" If you threw in some hot coffee you might get them interested though (*shot*) Of course there are the others. A certain so...

Re: Phoenix Engine

In short: you get access to the weekly alphas if you pre-order the game, plus the super secret forum that non-preorders are not supposed to know about oops oh well

EDIT: The alpha is modable to an extent, and I believe the game will be open source upon release. (Not to be confused with open sores)

Re: Fan Art

As cool as that picture looks, it looks more like the wolf has grey skin rather than having any fur. (or it almost looks like wood with cuts in it...)

Re: Overgrowth - Random Idea Dumping Thread

There will undoubtedly be many fan-made races for Overgrowth, and while they wouldn't fit at all in the main story of Overgrowth, it would be interesting to see them in multiplayer. Every player with their own distinct race would be interesting to see. Supposedly Overgrowth takes place on an island ...

Re: Community City

Doesn't anybody remember the little community town a while back? I don't believe it was called that, but basically people requested a house and the guy would add it in. i9t was pretty cool.

I don't see why we can't do another.

Re: How did you make the editor?

I imagine it's going to be like Little Big Planet in that all the levels will be made using the ingame editor. (Though, the LBP devs did cheat a bit... oh well. Why don't we get an editor on the computer anyways?) They just add on to the editor, and when they do that, they add on to what you can do ...

Re: How did you make the editor?

For the UI I think they're using... chromium or something.

The earlier glob pots might say something aboot the editor itself, but I kinda think most of it is about things you can do in the editor and not the editor itself.

Re: Near vertical jumps

Jump up them, probably not. Jump off of them laterally, yes. You should be able to jump off of any surface perpendicularly. It's more difficult to properly jump the more of an angle you're attempting to jump from. I think... right?

Re: I'm New Here But Has Fan Art For Overgrowth

That's some pretty good artwork you have there. If you're planning to make more fanart then I wouldn't mind keeping this topic open. There was (way back in the "lugaru 2" times) an entire thread devoted to somebody who drew comics about 'lugaru 2,' and he did only make a few of them (but t...

Re: No female characters planned?

If you find a place with animals that walk and 2 legs and wear armor....Tell me where it is and what kind of armor they are wearing.... and I will like move there and run away from human society as soon as possible when found. I don't know of any such society, but I assure you they would probably w...

Re: No female characters planned?

I don't know if you have heard of a game called "Mount and Blade" but they prety much got it right in that game. I'm talking abooot armor that doesn't look very protective, has huge boob spike things, etc. I'd like to see the girl in that picture be able to strike the same pose while weari...

Re: No female characters planned?

I wouldn't be really interested in seeing characters (male or female) in 'sexy' clothes, unless it was part of their character (they're a prostite, for example).

Armor that makes them look 'sexy' is really bad in videogames... or if not bad, just dumb.

Here's a fun link for you
