Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Yeah that's what I figured. I'm not sure about the stock, it's barely noticeable when your aiming down the sights and it sticks into other inventory slots so I think it would be better without it. It could serve a purpose for less rotational recoil though, like it doesn't actually do anything but I ...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Well there is actually no C96 with a removable magazine - the weapon you mean is the weapon Mauser M711 (with removable magazine) or M712 (with removable magazine and full auto firing mode), which is looking pretty much the same and is a variation of the C96 but it has a different name and was inve...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Well I have no exp with blender, but doesn't it come with a built in unwrapper, which can automatically break down all the scene meshes, without having to do it manually? Edit - I quickly did the uvw split - maybe it spares you some time if you want to use it Yes it does, I'm really bad with it tho...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Hai Guise, I saw the gun request thread and an action lever rifle caught my attention - so I designed one (but since I love shotguns most, I decided to make a m1887 12 gauge lever action shotgun with a sawn-off gunstock and a slightly shortened barrel) http://s30.postimg.org/bi1j6afwx/m1887_preview...

Re: Weapon Requests (ya dont have to make them if ya dun wan
That would be pretty cool! I'm open to adding pretty much whatever people want as long as I have a model available, so if you want to try then go ahead! Speaking of a plasma cartridge, some futuristic laser gun could be fun to use too...

Oh cool! It's too bad I don't have RO1 so I don't think I could get it.

Re: Weapon Requests (ya dont have to make them if ya dun wan
I'm looking forward for that replacement Tommygun aswell. I understand that you want to port it to Receiver with the box mags instead of the drum. A drum would be basically overkill, but also, in order to load them, you have to remove the backplate. So, box mags will have to do, but it should be th...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Okay, thanks! I guess I'll have to change how the magazine holds rounds or it will look weird when inserting them.

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Hmm, it sounds like the Garand is a little more complex than the other weapons I've added, I'll give a try eventually but I'll be getting some simpler weapons in before that. One quick question, how would you properly insert/remove rounds with this magazine? Would you just push them down through the...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Hi :) I'm really enjoying your weapons mod and I would really like to help, unfortunately i haven't got too much experiences with scripting and unity itself, however i have some knowledge about 3d modeling, so I tried my best with a desert eagle (file attached) hope the way i did this is actually u...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
The lee-enfield, if its available, might be a good solution. Being able to have 5 rounds, or two stripper clips, is greatly helpful. As far as freely available models, you probably know this, but the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. made all of their models freely available for use. They have some prob...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
Sounds great When will it work on linux? Hmm... I don't have Linux so I never got around to it, but I made a build and the file structure seems to be the same, so I'll see if I can just exclude the same files as the Windows version and hopefully it will work. As for when, I'll put it up with the ne...

Re: Weapon Additions - Updated Nov. 16th
I wish I could help but my knowledge is secondhand and doesn't extend further than 'they exist'. And I know I just made a request but there's a feature I think would be important, at least for the automatic handguns; loading rounds directly into the chamber. I think the easiest way to do it would b...
