make sure you install the scripts based on the version of Overgrowth you're using too

It looks amazing! Too bad I don't have anyone to play versus with me though... But Last's blood mod has a mini-mod that allows versus with a bot (if that has been fixed) I can't wait to try it out!

It should be working, are you sure you selected a character's box (when its white) and pressing ctrl +shift + P isn't turning the box green (meaning the npc is now a player)?
