I can't believe I forgot about you, Groveller, and your campaign of terror and nightmares... and bunnies. My apologies.
Lotus Wolf, I am impressed. Great job. And thanks.

Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
Wow, sounds really cool Lotus Wolf, go ahead! Vrav, I like how you use your imagination when playing a game. Very cool and intellectual. Actually , I do see a reason for there to be a sequel , and here it is: The talk of the Queen escaping , the mystery behing Yew's organization , the rabbit stuck i...

Re: Souls of Steel
After playing SoS's two maps, my first thought was, "why aren't there more?" So I've made four maps for Souls of Steel and one set of textures. I was going to also have a second set of textures that was just Lugaru's textures, so that SoS was in color, but the file was too big to attach, a...

Re: Editor: Map Objectives
So, let's say I want to attach a "must kill to win" hotspot to a player, I'd type "hs 10.0 11", if that was the first player placed on the map. If the player was the 6th player placed on the map then I'd type "hs 10.0 16" and so on.

Re: Editor: Map Objectives
WAIT! mapkillsomeone has to work! --in the very first level of Rabbit's Foot, Turner talks to his family, (or you can skip that) and then runs up the hill to fight the first stranger. You knock him out; the level ends. Is it done with a hotspot? *goes to try it...* You fight the rabbit in a separat...

Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
Wow, that's quite a response. Thanks to everyone for their compliments. Glabbit, thank you very much for your praise and I am glad you liked the detail I put into my maps. It is one of the things I'm most proud of. (p.s. it's not just a shrine but also a sacrificial altar.) John, I am glad you enjoy...

Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
tomascokis, that picture is AWESOME. Truly entertaining. Thank you... for the memories. nutcracker, yes you don't have a map on insane, but, there are many road signs that point in the direction of where you need to travel. Sometimes there isn't a roadsign and you need to search around a little befo...

Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
I meant where I put the files once I've unzipped it, (.DS_Store, task1, task2, task3, etc.) I've edited my first post with the directions, which I'll post here as well. Once you've unzipped the files place everything named "task#" into the maps folder. Place the "main.txt" in th...

Re: Raider Campaign
No it wouldn't. I believe, the other players' fur calls textures such as "oyster", "sable", or "WB2." The fur1,2,3 only affects the player character.
EDIT: It seems I was wrong.

I've made the screenshot and attached it within my original post.
Thank you Jeff. I'm honored you would place this in your secret vault.

Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
where do I unzip it? Not sure what you mean by this, but to download the original zip file either use the link in my first post, or go several posts down from that and download it from the attached file in Lotus Wolf's post. As for how to unzip it, you will need some software that can do the trick,...

Re: Souls of Steel
So, I noticed the first time I played there were panes of glass which I shot out. But on every play after that, they're not there anymore. Is there anyway to get them back? I don't see an option for placing glass in the map editor.

Re: the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
! The general, however, I thought had WAY too much health.... Also, the one with all the wolves in the big trees (I forget what it's called) was super tricky too. Maybe a bit too tricky. Yeah, the general is really tough, because he's a military hotshot, but that is why I provided his Major with a ...

Thanks for the compliments Sandurz and Lotus Wolf, I'm really glad you enjoyed it. And thank you, Lotus Wolf, for posting the file as an attachment, although I'm not sure I entirely understand the joke (is it an internet meme?).

the Seven Tasks - a mini campaign
seventasksimage.jpg This is a small campaign I made with the Lugaru map editor. I finally finished this after wrestling invisible demons in the map editor. It has maybe 10 fighting levels, 7 dialogue levels, and one bonus fighting level. I had intended to add a mystery solving element to all the ta...
