Re: The Weapon Shop

Actually, I'm looking forward to the master sword. That was just a (very late) retort to the previous argument very close to the berserker sword

Re: The Weapon Shop

Star wars is an extremely popular movie series, and has made many who have seen it aspire to wield lightsabers. However, the only productions of the saber (save a few) are extraordinarily crappy. The lightsaber in the hands of a skilled fighter, who happens to be Turner, is a way to fulfill that fan...

exactly. Lugaru (the island) isn't Earth. It's different. It SHOULD look different, feel different. People who live there can jump 250 meteres and run at 50 MpH. Distinguish each other by smell. Don't you think they build different too? Yeah, I love Firefly. But do I need a Lugaru-Firefly? No. (I n...

Well, I'd say don't just use one culture when you create your species.

Such as, if you only integrated Japanese or Chinese or European culture , the world wouldn't be as interesting, much like the real one.

Re: The Races of Lugaru

The image of the cats ( http://cdn.wolfire.com/legacy/catB.jpg ) is a little on the confusing side. It's wearing clothes that are old middle eastern combined with Chinese decorations, while the purple color was considered regal in medieval European culture. And it is also holding a rapier, which is ...

Even though you're probably loaded with work right now, I have a request.

One of the most recognized and probably the most famous sword in gaming.

The master sword

I'm sure Nintendo won't mind... too much

Re: The Races of Lugaru

Okay, I can do this. Maybe Rats: Mostly, EXACTLY what everyone else has said. Generally tend to stay in groups. Lurk in the shadows, camouflaged. The weakest and worst equipped of all animals, they must use other methods of survival. Great at espionage. Dogs: Much more varied then wolves, as they ra...

Unarmed against spear, 1:14
Full of counters and dodges, has few slowed-down sections where the unarmed guy jumps over the spear-thrust, and a cool-looking disarm.
It looks really good, but it doesn't look like it would be too useful in a real fight

Re: Player/AI Technique Gaps

well, all I know of is one, and that's the standard punch reverse; you punch them, they block and hit you in the neck. and naturally they can reverse your exclusive moves What I meant was, the moves are difficult to get the hang of and implement in battle properly, wsuch as the wall kick. It's diffi...

Re: My idea, better than any other

Lugaru did just fine with gender. Integrity is something not seen often anymore nowadays, and I'd be disappointed at Wofire if they lost that integrity for"boobiez" As said before, it's part of anatomy, it doesn't have to be sexual. I'm not arguing with that, just as long as they don't go...

Re: Player/AI Technique Gaps

There have to be techniques that you can do that Ai can't, and likewise there are moves they can perform that you can't. AI tech is really not that advanced, they are still very smart, and most of those techs are hard to do anyway. For some people, that is.
