I guess a lot of people put it into documents
Kinda silly since it actually clutters the documents folder, I have to force it to go into the my Game sub-folder that has also been commonly used and use hidden junctions to make it stay there.

Thanks for reporthing this! It's actually the listening script that didn't do the same-team check; they would hear each other's footsteps and think "HOLY COW A NOISE I MUST INVESTIGATE!!!" It will be fixed in the next alpha. Hmmm I wonder if there is a way you can develop AI for listening...

All the PHP code is run before rendering the web page, if the php code generates errors that aren't resolved it ends up writing out the error to the output text stream. Then this text stream is interpreted as stuff that should be rendered to the web page.

The tip was actually an adjustable with the splitting of your contribution. Nobody had to give any tip if they didn't want to, but the default split was something rather than nothing. Who knows what would happen if the tip wasn't substantial enough to pay the bandwidth costs, John might not consider...

One could construct sound detection in a way that is similar as ray casting for sight, but if you wanted to be able to detect echo, then you would have to account for reflection, which the current system doesn't do. Another thing you should consider about AI fov and "peripheral not seeing so far" is that the peripheral is still very good at detecting motion, even if it can not clearly see something. So perhaps it would be good to have different detection distances for when the player is moving too. So...

There is no statement, from wolfire, on avaliability of the full source code, however the engine will be modifiable to the extent of how powerful the scripting engine will be.
