Re: !OVERGROWTH PLOT LEAKED ON WIKIPEDIA!
If you are referring to what Zantalos wrote, I overwrote it, because I don't think David or anyone has confirmed anything about humans having gone extinct. Sorry Zantalos!

Re: Overgrowth on Wikipedia
I laid out the basic information. The features section needs to be actually written, pictures added, etc, but at least now the actual text is longer than the tags.

Re: Introducing Overgrowth
This is awesome work. The art is top-notch.
I guess David is putting his vegetal growth algorithm to good use.
Maybe the blurb should mention that the game comes out on all three PC platforms?

As far as I know, the main bug with the non-linearity is that Lugaru takes all your choices into account with a delay of one level. Say the player has just beaten some level after choosing option 2 from 2 possible levels, and he is now presented with a new choice of 2 possible next levels. No matter...

Congratulations on completing the project! And wow! I wasn't expecting 40+ levels! I will be all over this in just an hour. :) Also thanks for the credit, that is really nice of you, especially since I only answered a few technical questions. EDIT: Great stuff. :) The story being told from opposing ...

You're welcome. I'm happy to see another campaign may be coming up. :) An alpha layer is the transparency information for each pixel of a picture. Of course since it's just fur you don't want any transparency, but Lugaru still expects all PNG pictures to have an alpha layer - otherwise you get graph...

Depends on how good your computer is. I aimed at 50 FPS on my G4 laptop at the time but that was maybe overly restrictive. That's up to you to decide. I don't know about that 'back to fur3 bug' but what you can always do is convert the black fur into, say, black.png in Data/Textures and then use it ...

You can't have a weapon without a holder. For the framerate, in my experience things that have a big impact are -# of enemies visible at once. -# of intersections between objects (with some exceptions) -objects of type cool or chimney/tunnel, fire. -distance of clipping plane (fog helps) In general ...

If I were you I'd just rebuild the map elsewhere before losing more time, since it's a rare bug anyway, it's probably not worth looking for a fix (especially since there might be none). For the fires, I seem to remember that, on some computers, and in a given map, when you reload the map, they can e...
