Re: Lugaru: Reluctant Assassin

Are you saying a quality mod should relate to or expand on the original storyline? More mods in the works, eh? What percentage complete are they? Since you love maximizing the combat challenge, what could you do with a few more little rabbit friends to play with?? http://a.imageshack.us/img836/4076/...

Re: Tannim's Mini Campaign - Updated 8/5/09

Haha, yeah I really enjoyed the crazy levels. I may have to steal your fallen tree forest idea. Pretty neat. Though I may use partially transparent foliage graphics with little holes throughout so you can at least see decently through it. I'm a graphics nerd so I can do that. Yep I'd say you achieve...

Private? Release it when you're done.

I look forward to facing off against furry Ganondorf.

Re: Tannim's Mini Campaign - Updated 8/5/09

I played through this one as well. Most unique mod. The craziest levels ever! Unfortunately the campaign doesn't play like a campaign at all. No relationship between levels, or even dialogue - just a collection of challenge levels. Level design was pretty rampant, with numerous places where Lugaru's...

Re: Lugaru: Reluctant Assassin

Got through it. Great job! Yes, I used some console commands to beat it. I wasn't patient enough to legally beat each level, though I could have. . . I think. I forgot about difficulty. Turns out I played on "0", which is the easiest/lowest difficulty isn't it. Your campaign contains the b...

Re: Do you have any personal skins?

My upcoming campaign is slated to have 3 millions skins minimum.

I'd like to see less Windwaker and more Twilight Princess in your Link skin. It doesn't match the environment graphics.

Does this mean a sequel is imminent?

I think I'll play Reluctant Assassin I then.

Will return with feedback once beaten.

Re: Lugaru Map Import / Export scripts for Blender

Yes, I can work without the terrain being accurate for the time being, sure. I've plugged in your new scripts. Big improvement. Though the objects seem better placed, consistently, whether created in Lugaru or in Blender, they're imported into Blender way away from the terrain mesh now. I guess you ...

Re: Lugaru Map Import / Export scripts for Blender

Whoops, notice my "*EDIT" up there. Just additional info, nothing actually changed in my post. Ok, I see "fac = 4.0" in line 304. Is that it? I see nothing about fac in 410. There's no ".25" or "o.25" anywhere in the script. Search comes up with no hits. My l...

Re: Lugaru Map Import / Export scripts for Blender

Furthermore, in Lugaru I tried saving the map depicted in my second image above, as a different map file ("cubes02") then imported that into Blender. Inspecting the adjoining corners of the 5-cube "structure" I made out of duplicated boxes I find that they're correct - the corner...

Re: Lugaru Map Import / Export scripts for Blender

Ok. This is a big improvement. But still not accurate. And apparently, there's a difference in accuracy if the objects are created in Lugaru, then re-arranged in Blender and exported back to Lugaru -OR- created in Blender, by means of duplication (SHIFT+D), arranged in Blender, then exported to Luga...

Re: Fire Won't Appear

Yeah, they're very nice adjustments to the engine. Snow and Sand get a slight z axis randomization to most or all terrain mesh vertices. The more elevated (like mountains) the stronger it seems to be applied. And it was deliberate. For a little added realism I guess - sand and snow do pile up and fo...
