I saw BlackShades as an entry to the udevgame contest. I downloaded it and found it awesome. Some time later I visited the Wolfire's website and saw information about SoS and Lugaru. In the data/dialogues folder there should be a file called example.txt . This is an example of a dialogue file. There are a serious of dialogue boxes with several attributes: Location: this is 1 if it is at the top of the screen, or 2 if it as the bottom Color: The RGB color of the box, 1.0 0.0 0.0...

If you remember/once heard of Nintendo's Game and Watch thing, then this was arguably the first electronic game I played. NES, ZX Spectum, Macintosh. That's my way.

But first games I played were analog ones
