Yes it was. It was very very good. Of course you get the usual nay-sayers who try to cut down the awesomeness of the film because it was hyped (as happens with all things which are hyped up). You get people saying dumb shit like "The Matrix did it" even though The Matrix was completely shit and people saying "People only liked it because Christoher Nolan's last film was The Dark Knight." which is also a pretty dumb assertion considering that if there was that type of mentality in the world then I'd still love every Final Fantasy because I thought they were awesome from Final Fantasy 6 until Final Fantasy 9. People don't like things by a person because they liked the last thing that person did.

Anyway, those people who try to cut it down for silly reasons like that. Any legitimate problems with the film will be considered.

And then Leonardo Di Caprio will come along and kick your fucking ass.

It really was an excellent movie ... i cant remember the last time i saw a movie that actually surpassed my expectations ...

It was THICK with subcontext and it leaves anyone who watched the movie still thinking about "it" afterward ... just like the elephant people were told not to think of ...

I think I will have to leave this thread until I have watched it.
Potential spoilers is hardly appreciated.

I'm gonna ignore that, because you can do better than correcting typos.

Watched Kick-Ass, and I have to say, it actually lives up to it's name.

Acknowledge your incorrectness, or you'll never better yourself. That's some poor grammar.

Let's, for the record, say that I was under the influence of alcohol.

And I thought you'd, since you appearently catch grammatical mistakes, point out the obvious error of using "it's" instead of "its" in my second-to-previous post.

I'm impressed that you didn't sunk that low. Well done, lad.

"...didn't sink that low."

I watched the first Die Hard today. Again.

You learn something... every minute.

How was the Die Hard movie? I don't remember watching the first two.

Freshbite, please. Listen to mother Mary, and just let it be.

I saw Inception + Dinner for Schmucks + Kickass + Ghost in the Shell: SSS

Inception was really good, I still don't know whether or not he's still dreaming. Dinner for Schmucks.....not so good. It only got kind of funny at the end, but that was mostly slapstick. Kickass was hilarious. That's one movie that I'm going to have to watch more than a few times. SSS was pretty good, but it had very little action for a Ghost in the Shell movie. I did like the plot though, even though it was a quite a bit more than implausible even with the society it takes place in.

Dangit, I still have to see Inception...
And yes, Kick-Ass was hilarious.

Being under the influence of alcohol is no excuse for anything. None of this "i im soooo darnK!" shit. That's just people pretending they're drunker than they are. You say silly things when drunk. You don't type like an 8-year-old, though.

Im sorry, im appearantly too overawed by your stupidity to notice half of your glaring grammatical flaws.

You sinked my battleship.

Aww, that's so cute, the child thinks it's messing with me. ^_^

Snape kills Dumbledore and Leonardo Di Caprio dies.
