There have been worse. You kill children in lugaru, and OG has some pretty disturbing violence, so in this forum that isn't really out of line. Porn is, but there have been pictures posted before, with no ban, so I think KB's pic is actually not bad. In fact, I don't know of any bans(Except before I joined, when rules were stricter).

Fact of the matter is, that picture is disgusting and doesn't belong on these forums. As was said above, it's out of line.
I mean there are kids younger than you and me (and when I say "me" I mean 17 which is pretty damn young considering) that browse these forums. They're not mentioned in the forum rules (which for some reason I doubt a lot of you read) for no reason.

I think the general understanding of being on the internet, especially on a forum like this, is that shit gets weird, and if you can't handle that, you probably don't belong there. That said, spoilers are there for a reason, and even though you probably didn't emotionally damage anyone here, it's not the nicest thing to be visually ambushed with. And also yes, Lugaru/OG/any game ever gore is so different on so many levels than real gore.

However, you have to consider the potential audience you're posting to as well as what the owners of this forum would want.

Wolfire is trying to promote their game of overgrowth by providing a community. We should therefore not fuck up said community by posting extremely alienating material.

I was also against the classy porn thread we had years back but didn't say anything then. (Granted, porn isn't that bad as gore. Frankly, if some kid stumbles across it it just turns out to be a pleasant\curious surprise, not an extremely traumatizing moment.)

To be fair, I did throw it in a spoiler not long after posting it. I also didn't realize there were boobs in it until the next day

EDIT: After a quick review of the forum rules, I actually saw nothing pertaining to graphically violent imagery. There's one on politeness and swearing, but I we all swear pretty consistently and I didn't use it in offense to anyone. I'm sure the rules could be reinterperated against me, but that's how rules work in the first place. Interpretation is where it's at.
However I agree that I probably should have used more subtle methods :3

I'm 16, but I have seen things this bad 7 or 8 years ago, and it didn't affect me, but I guess most kids don't grow up playing GTA and watching extremely violent shows and movies when they were little. I'm pretty sure this is part of the reason I'm such a terrible person.

Honestly, I felt as if all the information spoon fed to me this election was bullshit and to vote based on that information would be irresponsible of me. What's the point of voting if you're not well informed on the stances of both candidates?

It would have taken me dozens of hours of research just to pick out a candidate, all homework I really didn't do.

I know the media is always saying "Get out and vote! Get out and vote!" but these are also the same people spoon feeding bullshit. So basically they're convincing an entire population of easily manipulated people to go out and vote for the same person they just endorsed about 30 seconds earlier.

I can't wrap my head around it anymore (maybe I never have and I just have realized it this election). It's propaganda/information overload and It's incredibly difficult to distinguish fact from fiction.
