For me, I got a bunch of them (I'm going to use Gamespot for links, just as a sidenote). There's this pretty cool looking one called Assassin's Creed, some WWII sequels like Call of Duty 3, Medal of Honor: Airborne, and Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway. Dark Messiah sounds like a fun Medievel first person game. Of course I have to say Sporeand Halo 3(probably won't actually buy Halo 3... or a 360. Don't know why though). These are just the few games with actual release dates, I haven't even heard about Fallout 3 or Resident Evil 5 yet
Anyways look at Call of Duty 3, Check out the aiming system, check out the fighting. It looks like these games are starting to have concepts from David's Blackshades game! See, you know how it's hard to look around in FPSs? It's hard to read stuff on screens than in real life. You can shake your head around and still read and see stuff pretty clearly, but you can't make out words if you shake your mouse in a FPS, it's too dissorienting! So to make it more life like, you can take out the dissoirienting effects by shaking the gun instead of your eyes, the aiming looks so much more fluid (hope the guns act real too. Corsairssp are silly, bullets should go where they're pointed at).
And now look at that hand to hand combat. It's so similar to Blackshades, I'm so happy for it being used (hopefully trailers, sorta act like what they are). Instead of giving you just a smash button, it looks like they're starting to take the use of grab moves. Originally just for Blackshades, you could take guns away from enemies in an awesome grab yenk, now it looks like a cool part in Call of Duty. Man this game is looking awesome! All games should be first, centered around Wolfire Games, they make them seem so much better. I don't even know what COD is going to be like, and already I'm thrilled!
