"Heat Vision and Jack" was a proposed television show in 1999. Although the Fox Network never picked up the pilot and was never aired, the show gained quite an online following. The pilot has now been hosted on YourTube, so check it out.
Anyways, the show is a comedy/science fiction starring Jack Black, Owen Wilson and Ron Silver. 'Heat Vision and Jack' is directed by Ben Stiller and written by Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab.
Jack Black plays a renegade astronaut who was exposed to 'innapropriate levels of solar energy' which left him superintelligent. Owen Wilson plays Heat Vision, a talking motorcycle. Together, they run from Ron Silver, an ex-astronaut working for NASA who will stop at nothing to capture Jack.
Recently, the show has been picked up by Fox 2000 and will be made into a movie. You're going to have to find a source on the news yourself, I just heard it on NPR.
