So should I go watch Fight Club now that Aubrey and David are asleep?

You should go watch Fight Club regardless of anything and everything.

You know, no one in my family has seen fight club

I'll have to get a copy, bring it to them and spoil the whole movie by explaining all the significant scenes. :P

Such as that one frame when he is at that meeting. You all are gamers, your eyes are probably quick enough to realize what im talking about.

Man I thought I caught all of those, but I don't remember one during a meeting...

Hanging over the shoulder of the speaker, yes.
I spotted about four or five if I recall correctly.

Literally just finished watching "Diary of the Dead"
Directing: 10/10 Brilliant atmosphere and camerawork, general staging was fantastic.
Writing: 6/10 Good scripting which unfortunately falls slightly flat in places due to a few characters who weren't too well developed as characters so much as small distractions along the way who will get killed.
Acting: 4/10 Unfortunately, it started to fail here, besides a few characters who fortunately got the most screen time, there were a few actors who were slightly disappointing.

Overall I'd give it around about a 7/10, you have a few actors who aren't brilliant, although in a lot of places it could just be down to their narrow, poorly developed characters who only serve to increase the amount of gore. Nice bit of contrast is the Professor who was fantastically acted, as well as the "cameraman" (It makes sense once you've seen it). Gets better as it goes along and as the lesser characters are killed off, whittling it down to the main cast of well developed and acted characters. There's the odd line which just feels wrong:
"Dude!" "Yo back at ya"
As well as the odd line which is just brilliantly slipped in to add a little comic relief:
"The fuck are you doing here?" "The fuck are you doing here? I'm just here to steal shit"
Also, this damn scene which had me on the floor laughing hysterically.

Kept expecting an 80's style cut to colorized screen with his name across the bottom (à la WET)

Anyway, just thought I'd share this with my fellow folks on Randomness.

pretty funny.

I think I said this before, but we were talking about it at work today and I looked it up on imdb.

The Wire. Check out the voted rating, not that those are all that useful, but they are somewhat of an indicator. Definitely fits my opinion of its quality level.

(You do have to watch maybe 4 or 5 shows, it's a slow starting, cast-of-dozens type of story)

It can kind of spoil your enjoyment of less well crafted stories, which is an odd problem to have.

Overgrowth did that to me and gameplay. Can't even play Skyrim anymore, so damn unresponsive.

The Prestige.

Smacked me in the face, that movie did. I actually had the end thought out quite accurately, but it didn't leave me less disgusted for it.

Can't wait for season three to be on Netflix. Unfortunately, probably a bit of a wait... :(
