Yeah, my friend told me about the line before I actually played the game, and I facepalmed so hard I gave myself a black eye...Grayswandir wrote:Wait, he says that? I started zoning out whenever he talked unless it was about a case I was working on.

Re: Minecraft
First, you will need to install java on the computer with no internet. Just use the offline installer from the java website (http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp) and transfer it to the other computer with a flash drive. Second, you will need all of the minecraft files to play the game. Copy the Minecraft.exe file you downloaded from the site as well as the files in %APPDATA%\Roaming\.minecraft from the first computer and put them on a flash drive. On the computer with no internet, create the .minecraft foler in %APPDATA%\Roaming and copy the files into there. Now run the Minecraft.exe and you should be good to go.

I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed the story and I look forward to the ever progressing coolness of these stories.

Re: Minecraft
what does anyone (anything?) gain from a spambot anyway?
Re: Minecraft
Someone on the internet wrote:Spam actually generates billions of dollars in sales and scams every year. $80 Billion in 2008 if I recall correctly. If they sell one iPhone, a dozen little blue pills or any number of other things they list than they have made the money back. A thousand site campaign literally costs about $30.00. Considering a lot of these "companies" are selling contraband that fell off the back of a truck or got too close to Somalia, its easy to make a profit.
Not only that but you have to consider than not every site is as diligent as you are. Some don't even delete the spam if they visit the site. They don't care. To many forum owners, guest users are worth more money that registered users because studies have shown that guests are more likely to click on advertising when they exit a website.

I guess that's what we get for underestimating human stupidity.
Re: Minecraft
This topic doesn't contain enough Minecraft.
Or cowbell.
But mainly Minecraft.
Anyone want to start a server? Mainly for fun though I would keep serious mega-building for a private server.
