Spore for handhelds
I just found this article that comfirms the Spore will be comming to the PSP and the DS, which is great because it might never come out for mac and I have a DS, I was almost planning to get a new computer just for this game...
Well, I've heard about it possibly coming for the handhelds, which is awesome,
but I'm not going to bounce around with joy yet, I'll wait for an official confirmation.
Where'd you find that article, by the way?
Enough negativity. It would be awesome for the DS!
If anybody has seen the editor in action, you can see that it would work well with the stylus.
I guess most of the game would, since it's very mouse-based.
You could use the stylus to click on the ground (or map on the lower screen) where you wanted to go, ect. (In the Creature Phase.)
It would probably work for the PSP too, because of the analog stick.
They'd probably have to make some button-shortcuts or something though.

Sorry, I though I posted it...

Man I hope they don't just... well, this game is made for the PC, I hope they don't create some bastardization of a (supposedly) high-end pc game for something like a Nokia or DS. Seriously, handheld 'ports' have been known to suck (masoumi's rant). But uh, if they create Spore individually suited for each hand held, who knows, these could be fun to play.
I don't know yet, it just doesn't seem like Spore would run on something like a phone or hand held and still be fun to play.
I mean, games like Sims 2 weren't exactly fun on anything besides the pc... Well, at least Spore has a cool concept behind it, I'll wait and see, this could be cool.

I am also skeptical about the quality of the Spore port to the PSP/DS. It seems a little difficult to transfer a game, which is basically all about being able to do a whole load of things, customise everything you can think of and travel to hundreds upon hundreds of worlds, to poor systems like the PSP or DS.
Also, why would you use urban dictionary to define a word? Use dictionary.com.
I never thought Sims was fun at all. What's fun about repetitive gameplay masked by the fact you can create crappy models for characters and buildings? It's basically going to the frustrations of daily life, only on a computer. I'm not willing to waste my time getting frustrated over managing a working family's life, when I can barely manage my own.

Maybe, I never had a Color, just GameGear, Gameboy Pocket, and Gameboy Advance for portables.MacWiggy wrote:DK Country for Gameboy Color, Mofo'
(Am I the only one who still has a Color?
Incidentally, Donkey Kong Country for GBA was absolutely horrible; changing the sounds and graphics and adding a bunch of crazy stuff, no respect for the original
