Hated SOPA? Look up ACTA

Yes, the USA has already joined it, be afraid and be angry.

It's been in secret development and talks with non-elected officials since 2008. They've managed to keep it off the news so far.

Oh, now that's nice.

Secret* from You, you mean.

Here's my fav from the wiki enty:
"While negotiations are secret, a number of corporations are part of advisory committees of the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) and have access to classified documents."

The future is in safe hands, and doesn't really require input from you.

yay.

ok, I'll amend that to "relatively secret" then.

yeah, REAL safe hands.

KILL IT WITH FIRE.

If I ever seriously consider suicide, I'll make sure to jump some of these corporate cagebuilders with a flamethrower beforehand.

This is great! When have corporations not looked out for the commoner, and instead did something for personal gain? Never, right?
It's great to know our government knows who we trust our freedom with so well that they don't even have to bother us with it.
I think we are in the midst of the creation of a Golden Age of Freedom.

Here is a nice video incase you don't like reading:

Yeah, and at least SOPA and PIPA are easy to say. The -CTA in ACTA makes it a little trippy to say. They couldn't have called it OGASA (Our Governments Suck Act (replace the ct of Act with ss for the real meaning))

If you can pronounce 'act', 'ACTA' should be no harder.

The point is KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT
I've signed all petitions I could - what else is there I can do?
Somebody show me the killswitch!

E-mail EFF pushing for another blackout. They spoke out against ACTA before. I tweeted about ACTA with the #ACTA hashtag, and we can always have that armed revolt that I wanted. I;m in the U.S., are you somewhere else Glabbit? Either way, you can always start one up where ever you live too. Adds more impact if it's global

I'm down for armed revolt if you'd like, I really don't like the way the world's working right now and I've got a few ideas of my own I'd like to try.

Do you live outside the US? Maybe there are some other users who live in the same country you do, if you're no American, that could help you get started.
And because it's a revolt, the Geneva Convention can kiss our asses! We can use poison gas, torture: all that jazz! It's gunna be so sweet!
Ok, I don't know about other countries, but guns are super easy to get here in the US. Explosives aren't too tough to produce at home and we can protect ourselves from our own poison gas with thick, urine soaked towels. We can even make full masks with with them using vacuum formed plastic from old N64 cases and cheap children's toys and rubber O-rings from water tight food containers.
Man, if we really did this, I'd be such so good at it

No sir, I think YOU play too many video games.

Korban is right though I am underage and I've seen a few people my age with guns. More impressive than that is that I've made some pretty decent bombs, and I'm Muslim. I was actually on the terrorist watch list for a while, and I still get away with this stuff. An armed revolt would be pretty easy, although it wouldn't get very far unless we are really smart. really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really smart. Once we kill a few hundred people, the Army will show up, and we (US) spend TRILLIONS of dollars on our army. The average American, making $50,000 would take twenty million years to make a trillion dollars, without spending any money at all. The average American, making $50,000 would take 400 years to make a twenty million dollars, without spending any money at all. That's four really long lifetimes of working from day one till death, without spending any money, to make the amount of dollars of years it would take doing the same thing to make a trillion dollars. Our brains cannot comprehend. And they can spend multiple of those, using partly our own money. Basically, we're screwed.
