This tedious little argument bored me so much I stopped posting in it for a week or so. My point of being nice to those who aren't smug or assuming towards me still stands. People like yourself and the other guy irritate me to no end. Glabbit, Freshbite, Assaultman etc. are all fine by me for the most part. Lovely people.

I'm not arrogant. Simply defnding myself isn't arrogant. What I really fail to understand is how you think it's arrogant of me to correct someone who's badmouthing me in a snide way, when I hadn't even posted in this forum for months. Literally.

It wasn't my intent to badmouth you, Ren. I was merely attempting to suggest that a less stubborn communication style might suit you better. You've a habit of getting ridiculously high-horsey whenever something offends you.

I should know. I've been there myself.

Sorry I annoy you. I'm not saying defending yourself is arrogant, it is the way you do it that comes across as arrogant. Maybe you aren't arrogant, but that is how you sound. For example:

"This tedious little argument bored me so much I stopped posting in it for a week or so." This makes it sound like you are saying you are so much better than us at arguing that you got bored. I'm sure that's not what you meant, but it makes you sound arrogant. If you want to sound less arrogant, leave that out. It adds nothing to the conversation, nor does it serve any other purpose. No one was wondering where you had gone. As you can see, everyone else posted for a while, and no one said "Where's Ren? Did he lose?" so the explanation served no purpose other than making you sound arrogant.
