Art! (Digital Art)

Post by BunnyWithStick » Mon Sep 25, 2006 6:14 pm

Yes, it's me again, with more posting, and more art of various forms, recently (Or not so recently) I found I had a talent for drawing little landscapes of stickfigures (Little mini tiny sticky figures!), which resulted in:
ODDWORLD!
Which is a slightly more original name than "Thing" :P

Perhaps based on something from the madness combat series, or perhaps based on something else which was based on the madness combat series:
Pie!

Another "Who Shoots Who?":
Gunfight

Edit: Changed to direct links, since after trying normal links to my.php, it appeared to have the same result as the Thing Series would've, sorry and thanks, ImageShack!

The pictures aren't moving, they're just sitting there. Are they suppose to be moving?

Not this time, they're just pictures, I might make an "Oddworld Animated" someday, but I doubt the running/walking animations would be very good, and I'm not sure if they'd even exist!

Dude... not to flame, but that takes no skill at all. If it were me, I wouldn't post a still picture that anyone could make in 10 seconds in Photoshop, then gloat about your skills.

By the way, I don't get any of them. Sorry to be negative, but they're just not very good and I don't want to say something sugar coated because I'm a douche like that.

I know it takes no skill at all, I just discovered I liked doing it, really.

Alright. So be awesome and make a huge complex drawing of a city or something, that'd rock.

Yeah, right now they're pretty boring, I'll get to work on a big city like the one I drew before I decided to use a Wacom Tablet and Photoshop

Nice!

I like photoshop as well, which is why I didn't really like how someone said it wasn't art. I made this:

Which took me a few hours to make, since I'm a perfectionist, and they told me it wasn't art because I didn't draw that Gordon Freeman. I made everything else, just for clarification - the backround is all smudging and filters and stuff, not a picture of a bloody wall which I meant for it to look like.

Definitely getting better, see, now stuff is happening so it compels me to look around and see what's happening.

I'm just doing what I did before with Pen & Paper 8)

Oh, and yes, that is a fart-propelled cow, and those people are bashing things with trees and skyscrapers

Um there is already a world called Oddworld...
for those of you who have played Abe's Oddosy
http://www.oddworld.com/firsttenyears/index.shtml
They made some pretty cool back drops ass well.
Be careful of Oddworld Inhabitants Legal.

I say that in a caring way. :|

There's also Indiana Jones in Oddworld, and probably a lot of others, nothing big, but it seems to be a rather commonly used term/word/thingy
