Re: Errm..your favourite music?
She died trying to watch TV. That's quite a message.

Music thread, I resurrect thee.
Hooray, 8-bit SNES geek rock. This is probably my favourite song of theirs, off their album Dawn Metropolis. The slow build-up over the first 3 minutes is particularly sexually stimulative.

Anamaguchi is awesome.
I was watching Eden of the East and I'd forgotten they used this as the opening song.

How does this band go from THIS on their 2008 album:
to THIS on their 2009 album:
to THIS on their 2010 EP:
and all in the space of 2 years?
No more screaming, no more double bass, no more dark atmosphere. I like the result. Awesome sound. I'm amazed by the growth.

Re: Errm..your favourite music?
No, it's not, it's mainly because of them changing as a band and evolving as people. The type of music they were playing at first very clearly does sell since they were signed to Rise Records.Assaultman67 wrote:Its because metal doesn't sell ...

Re: Errm..your favourite music?
Never heard of rise records...Or this band "Oceana" of which you speak, although, their whole development reminds me in part of Linkin Park's evolution as a band. From Hybrid Theory (Great Album) to Meteora (One of the best Albums I've ever heard. Period). To Minutes to Midnight (Average album, riding on the Emo revolution at the time, with a few fantastic songs thrown in there for effect). To A Thousand Suns (I refuse to buy it, I may listen to it at some point, but...)
If you're reading this, go back to what you used to be, for the love of all that is good in the world, go back to what you used to be!
Anyway, continue as you were gents, just needed to get that out of my system...

Ahh, lovely shortsighted rant about wanting the same band to produce the exact same album again and again with different names and minute differences.
In other news, Kamelot are fantastic!

Hello guys,
I like a lot of stuff...(except techno or house music and that kinda shit)
I listen sometimes to eminem, because he has some great lyrics!
Or MGMT....
I love "Hero of war" from Rise against (but that's the only song I listen to from them).
And like a lot more...
But my absolute favorite is Clint Mansell, this guy is a f*cking genius! He composes film music.

Ah yes and he composed "Lux Aeterna" or better known as "Requiem for a dream" (which is actually the title of the movie whereof Lux Aeterna the theme is)

Are you being sarcastic or referring to something or do you actually like Kamelot?Renegade_Turner wrote:Ahh, lovely shortsighted rant about wanting the same band to produce the exact same album again and again with different names and minute differences.

I also really like this song, particularly the beat and Tyga's verse:
Tryna see eye to eye, but it's like we both blind.
Fuck it, let's hit the club, I rarely sip but pour me some,
'Cause when it's all said and done, I ain't gon' be the one that she can always run to.
I hate liars, fuck love, I'm tired of tryin',
My heart big but it beat quiet.
