Here are the best songs from the albums. They're all much better than Resistance.

Muscle Museum LIVE (Showbiz)

Plug In Baby (Origin Of Symmetry)

Time Is Running Out (Absolution)

Map Of The Problematique (Black Holes And Revelations)

To be honest, Origin Of Symmetry and Absolution are the two best albums. Get Origin Of Symmetry first. Every song on it is brilliant.

after seeing them for the second time live, I've been really into Touché Amoré lately:

I've also been pretty into old-school emo and "real screamo"/"skramz"/"emoviolence"/whatever else you want to call the style of music:

Orchid

Pg.99

Circle Takes the Square

The Saddest Landscape

Loma Prieta

I can't let this thread die now, can I?
This is probably one of the best songs ever to relax to.

There is something I like about games that make heavy use of electric guitar...

...or military-style orchestral tunes.

Loving them more and more with every song I become familiar with. All the lyrics to this song are brilliant.

"Introspection, fabricated.
Pretend to hate it, pretend to hate it all.
The attention, it's not a bad thing.
Pretend to hate it all.
When you first walked these roads, what were you so afraid of?
The thought of a different life, it sends you off the deep-end.
When you scream "I'm just a normal guy",
It's painfully apparent your aim is to be deified.
Your aim is to be deified.
Get yourself back home so the accolades can let you go.

Ooooooh, ooooooo-whoa,
We seek relation, and you degrade us.
Ooooooh, ooooooo-whoa,
You don't have to be an asshole to be an artist."

Also, this music video is pretty awesome:

Not like their old stuff, but brilliant in it's own right.

New Linkin Park that isn't horribly mediocre. Mike Shinoda's lyrics and tempo seem almost reggae influenced but the music really isn't. Sounds strange.

OK, so I was initially under the impression that this little song from Saga Frontier was an original piece:

It was basically the theme song for Alkaiser, the alter ego of one of the seven main protagonists. His basic backstory is that he starts off as a normal kid named Red, and when he hits ~18, his family is killed (well, only his dad, actually, but he doesn't learn that his mother and sister are still alive until close to the end of his main quest) by a sort of terrorist group known as Black X. He nearly dies in the assault when this shiny guy known as Alkarl comes out of nowhere, kicks some butt, and turns Red into a "Hero" in order to save his life. From that point on, Red is able to transform into the hero Alkaiser.

Anyways, come to find out a few days ago while looking up this song on YouTube that it is actually an instrumental adaptation of another theme song from Super Robot Taisen (aka Super Robot Taisen), for a giant robot known as the Compatible Kaiser.

IT'S A CONSPIRACY etc. I'm sure close to nobody cares but yeah I had to get that out.

Some people in this thread seem to have missed the point. Listing off a reel of bands you like isn't very interesting to read. Rather, embedding a video to the thread in your comment and telling people a little bit about what you love so much about specific songs or bands is much more engaging. If I see a list of bands I stop reading after a few names. If I were to reel off a list of random bands I'd be here typing names all day and all night. Not interesting.
