Group of Irish lads doing a cover of "Cosmic Love" by Florence And The Machine. The percussion instrument in the middle is called a bodhrán.

That cover is beautiful, better than the original for me, and I got chills listening to it. Wasn't sure how I'd feel about an Irish accent with those lyrics, but it sounded incredible.

My favourite music peoples is:

Voltaire
Metric
Creature Feature
Blue Oyster Cult
Radiohead
Journey
Gary Jules
Neil Young
Queen
THE BEATLES
Arcade Fire
Gorillaz

So basically all the way from Dark Cabaret to Classic Rock. Also, jesus this must be the oldest thread known to man.

If anyone loves the Yorkshire accent as much as I do then they'll probably love this song as much as I do.

I heard this in a grocery store, of all places, looked it up, and quite liked it. There's something beautifully melancholic about it. This isn't the original version but I prefer this particular cover.

Man I haven't listened to Celtic music in a while. I think the last band I remember listening to that was remotely Celtic was Solas.

Other stuff.

So bizarre that people from other countries listen to that...here in Ireland, any Irish trad music is kind of a semi-joke to most young people as being a thing that you dread because you automatically seem to start listening to it once you turn 50.

"Solas" means "light" in Irish, too. The Wind That Shakes The Barley is an old song, there's a film named after it about the Irish civil war.

Baroness is the shit

I know you guys like metal so give it a listen, it's a tad different than the norm though.
This song is about losing people (or yourself) to drugs, unfortunately I've lost a few friends thanks their abuse of heroin so this hits pretty close to home.

So maybe I'm just reviving this because I'm a stodgy person who's dedicated to threads, but in any case,
Here's some music I occasionally listen to

There's nothing wrong with being devoted to this thread.

Have at thee!
