Looks pretty dam good.
Perhaps more impressive than the image itself is the fact you never once zoomed in. XD

People who have this gift are amazing. I'm too technical, if anything I stick to ray tracing. I could never start from a gray featureless void like you did and have anything come from it. Good job, and keep them coming.

Haha thanks! Yeah I find zooming in gives you the temptation to focus on details so I try to avoid it.

It was very cool, any chance you could upload the finished version?

There was just one thing that bugged me, the fact that the entrance of the cave is centered in the image, it gives the cave an artificial feel, and the right part of the image is kind of left out. I suppose that's just a thing of preference though.

Other than that, really liked how you used lighting and fog to set the mood. The use of mostly warm colors, even by the entrance gives the cave an eerie atmosphere.

It's essentially awesome :P.

I don't know how you pick your subjects, but I think at this point we demand an OG setting. :)
