Best Fighting games?

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has some great multiplayer. The problem is the customization and single player. Its definitely for the hardcore Tekken fan. There is a tutorial style campaign with a robot you can customize and you can even buy clothing and such for the other characters. The problem is the prices. A pair of sunglasses costs at least 300k in game-whatever points. You get 1,000 points or so for finishing a vs. CPU campaign fight (assuming the AI doesnt' just suddenly decide that you've won enough matches and need to lose)...and 300 points for a versus human match. That isn't too bad...but then you realize you have to buy the same pair of sunglasses AGAIN if you want to use it for another character.
