How long did it take you to beat Dark Souls?

I clocked in at 80 hours first run through.

I played as a tank relying mostly on medium armour with halberds and tower shields.

My final build was the elite knight armour set upgraded to +8, the black iron tower shield upgraded to +8 and the black knight halberd upgraded to +6. I also had the Ring of Divine Favor (or whatever) and one free ring slot which I used differently depending on the situation. My Estus Flask was at +3 by the end of the game. I also used a talisman (I forget the name) which I used mostly for healing.

I got cursed only once, but the experience gave me an irrational fear of giant frogs with enormously proportioned eyes.

Oh, and I missed the Drake Sword. And the bonfire in Blighttown. And the bonfire in Sen's Fortress.
