You all act as if this train would be a wonderful thing. But it would be terrible. Running rampant throughout the land breaking into poor threads homes at night and draining the bodily fluids from their children. There would be no peace. No hope. I read that book. The Iron Council. One of the protagonists is Judah Low, a somaturge. He makes golems. Out of clay and stone. And poison gas. A light. Against fire-mages, he made gunpowder golems (they were surprised). Gotta love China Miéville's magic systems.

More like the train took your furniture to their bar, and you don't need socks any way because the city officials decided you were collaborating with rebels and decided to replace your right leg with a donkey's hindquarters, to show that you're an ass's ass. Oh, and you're also a slave.

I guess that explains why one of the train carts is now a gigantic, translucent cell with little blobs inside that used to be people. They always wave at the passers-by with their little appendages.
