It'd be useful for me to have dual monitors.
Playing BF4 or any game like it, even Arma 3: Beta on dual monitors sounds amazing! I just don't have the cash to shell out, and I don't think it's needed right now, as I'm trying to buy a backlit keyboard.
Why on earth would you want a backlit keyboard?
Just learn to touchtype. It's much easier, less costly, and helps with more than finding keys at night.
I don't think that's the issue. Backlit keyboards just look cooler. And generally if a keyboard is fancy enough to be backlit it's just good in general.

I don't want anything that glows in my room.
Litterly, every single electronic that is required to be turned on, has an LED that has the brightness of the god damn sun.
It makes my room look like an airport when the lights are turned off.
Therefore, I put ducttape over every single glowing bit in my room.
It feels so nice to actually have a dark room. And damn, it is dark dark dark.

I'm the same way. My room sees no light. Ever.

Well, I have my main light on since I like to read in between Skyrim's stutters ( :| ) but I have no LEDs anywhere visible and my case is as plain as possible.

Glowy LEDs are just irritating and useless /:

Guys ... Alpine uses a mac.

Also, 2 out of 8 of my computers are command line driven (my recently bought Raspberry Pi and my TRS-80)

... God I'm a nerd <deep self reflection with a hint of depression smiley here>
