'sides, I don't have photoshop, am too cheap to buy it, and am too lazy to dl it.

And because of the above, I have become... A MASTER OF MSPAINT!
You prolly wouldn't believe me, but I can play media files in MSpaint. Really, it's true.

I'm sorry. GC sucks. it's hard to use, is way buggy, and half the tools don't work.

Great pic!

As for GC - it is a must-have! It is or can be useful... It's just not suited for editing. but saving/changing formats/names is good
((and it is free for PowerMac buyers... ))

I kept stabbing them until I was very, very, very satisfied. *maniacal laughter*

I wonder how you got the pattern though.. hm.
Quite hardcore I must say, I would just have edited the skin.

Actually, the pattern came out by itself. I was just stabbing the corpse a lot one day (was either enraged at something, or feeling sadistic) and the pattern just emerged. So I decided to see how it looked on the front/back of both the rabbits and wolves.
And then I took screens. And then made this.

Cool, I wonder if the same pattern will always emerge if you don't move?
I love little mathematical things like that, is the forumula based on specific variables or does it involve rand() ?

I have a feeling that it has to do with the allowed stab areas on the character model... perhaps one per model polygon? Which would explain why you can get the individual blood bits all nicely joined together on the face.

So you are saying each vertex is a potential stab point, and the knife wont land anywhere else? that would explain why there is a pattern, only way to tell would be to look at the wireframe and compare it to the stab marks.

I feel like you're the man for the job, then. And this feels a lot like a strange CSI episode.

Jeff:
Kinda well. I have a 4-pager due today that I haven't really started on yet. *sigh*
