Turtles, the clan, splinter...and of course the shredder?

Would this be too trade mark infringementish.
Or would it be possible?

It's a mod. So it would not be commercial, which basically means you can do whatever you want until you get a cease & desist.

And I doubt anyone involved in TMNT would bother giving a modder a cease and desist. :P

Or, you know, maybe the mod could be called.
Generic young adult-morphed-shinobi-tortoises.

A mod is possible. Anthropomorphic turtle warriors would be legal even as an actual race, as long as they're different enough from the Inspiration.

If a name-change is needed, I'd prefer "The Younger Reformed Disciples of A'tuin".

That would be cool.

As a style they could be really slow but powerful in combat.
To balance it out some their focus could be on defense...it would fit with their natural disposition.
As well an ability to actually retreat into their shells, with some chameleon affects when they do so.
That way they would have to rely on stealth more for springing attacks.
Tactics would be to lay in wait then get in and get out,
For flight their retreat would be stunted, as they would only be capable of short burst of speed.
To balance that out they might be really durable (armored shells and all) like they can take one hell of a beating before they are actually out for the count.

I'm bumping this thread - I would love to see a TMNT Mod!!! Hopefully someone can get this issue with playing custom-characters fixed as well :)
