so im a pretty serious paddler and thats me in the stern last summer at camp. The river is the green if you are familiar with it. This is an easy river and id much rather paddle the pigeon or the ocoee.
If you want to start paddling and live near NC, the green is the way to go. just make sure you have your strokes(cross bow, c stroke, j stroke, reverse j, pry, sweeps, sweeps 2)

I'm pretty sure the water was just unusually pure~

Best water I ever had was spring water on a mountain side. You can't beat that shit.
