Umm, no? Russians actually UNDERSTAND all those spam posts, which makes them even worse.

For you, it's canned food in a can - you know it's bad, but thankfully you don't know the exact details.

For those who understand Russian, it's just as bad, except they know exactly what the text is saying, they know the content:

And it's even worse than they could imagine...

Peas? Seriously? Just peas, with butter. And seeing as the butter hasn't melted, they might be COLD beans. That's just wrong.

Well, that's just assuming that all the Russians we are dissaproving are spamming.
If there was an actual post that was just in Russian, then we would appear to be an anti-russian forum, as I was pointing out.

We are not an anti-russian forum. We are a not-russian forum. So posting in russian would be a silly idea anyways, as the majority of us would not understand it. Thus, to the educated eye, posting in russian and expecting to be understood is not all too dissimilar from expecting people to take the 'GR8 IDEAS'-type posts seriously, as for the common wolfire man, both posts are gibberish.

An anti-russian forum would include further persecuting any russian user for being russian, regardless of the attempted language in his or her posts.
We do not do these things.

That attitude is one reason for the separate Russian OG community. Mount & blade forums had really cool multilingual subforums.

There is?!?!?

That must be where all this spam is coming from!

We should get admin access there so we can remove the spam at it source. :P

Guys, there's a huge Russian-translated modding tutorial stickied on top of the modding subforum. Where did you think it came from?

I just shot down about 15 of those.
Almost makes me feel like I have a purpose to exist.

I'm sorry.

...now can we please procure a more potent weapon against all the legitimate spam?

I'm telling you, blame the russians.

The only way to solve this is a good ol' fashioned race war!

Edit: in all seriousness, we're kinda losing this battle ...

I'd like to see a reply from Phil Crumm himself, to verify if he's working on it or not.

I just disapproved 28 posts at once. I counted.
I thought it would slow down after a while, but it's just gotten worse.
