Whoops.

I suspect an edit from a certain someone. A certain someone whose name might begin in "U". I'm not saying anymore, except their name might also end in "sagi".

Well played.

What about 5D?
...
Come on, someone's had to have heard of 5D...
...
Anyway...I see nothing wrong with believing in whatever you'd like...just don't go accusing people of being impure or wrong because they don't believe you.
I think I've pointed this out before, but a God doesn't require hard evidence or fact to prove that it exists...it needs enough people who believe in it strongly enough that they'll point out examples of a God's existence. If enough people believe in something...the majority wins. Fact can become fiction and vice versa...you just need enough people to believe in something...
I heard something interesting and if you think about it, it's generally true...
The world around you is full of conspiracies...all of them trying to get you to do something or believe something. Its rather interesting if you look ath the world this way.

I can't believe so many people share similar beliefs to mine!

Well played yourself; a fun exchange. And certainly no offense on this end; like I said, it was fun. At least you didn't say the name ended in "sucky."

As for multiple dimensions, why shouldn't there be more than we can perceive? Try reading "Flatland - A romance of many dimensions." With Illustrations by the Author, A SQUARE (Edwin A. Abbott 1838-1926)

The book is fun, and short (the entire text is online here) and will make you think.

Perhaps God is a multi-dimensional creature (to get back on topic) whose true being can't be perceived by us; his intrusions into our dimension might look like an image of the Virgin Mary in a toasted cheese sandwich.

Now, to truly round off the topic: Religious Jokes! Yay!

What do you get when you cross an agnostic with an atheist with a dyslexic?

Someone who stays awake all night wondering if there is a dog.

Of course god is a multi-planar/multi-dimensional creature…

Well, that's my belief anyway.

Jesus appeared to me on a napkin once. Unfortunately I left it at the restuarant. It's kind of strange, seeing as I'm an atheist with a jewish upbringing.

Rumor has it that Jesus had a Jewish upbringing also.

Of course he did, he was a Jewish reformist, not a Christian. His disciples then formed a Jewish cult centered around his philosophy and it took quite a while to become a separate religion.

[edit for capitalization problem]

Really? How could he not be Christian? He was Christ, for Christ's sake.

Personally, I'm a Usagian. But I don't claim to be the Son of God.

What if I told you that someone was behind you about to brain you with a stick? Of course, you wouldn't believe me, but I know some of you had the urge to turn around and look.

I Thought Christianity was invented by Constantine (Please Clarify Spelling) to gain more control over the people.

Yeah, that's what I referred to as "where things went wrong"... :P

Another puzzling theological question- that Christian stance of fighting with the sword:
Matthew wrote:"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth, but a sword."
But then they ask you to keep it sheathed:
Matthew wrote:"Put your sword back in its place, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword."
That's just silly. Because then you can't sheathe your knife either.
So how are you going to use the flip+tracheotomy combo? Uh? How are you gonna score teh phat times?

If that doesn't prove the Bible is a hack, I don't know what does.
