Well, yes. It's not exactly plagiarism though if you take an idea of someone else and work with it. You'd have to steal the whole storyline or big parts of it to commit plagiarism.
For example, it wouldn't be plagiarism if I made a game in which anthropologic bunnies fight to the death in 3D. But it would be plagiarism if I took parts of David's work and used it in my bunny-beating game.

I'm not saying that he did plagiarize it, I was just pointing out that I didn't make it up or anything, I just heard it somewhere.

And I think it's interesting. The book is still nice to read. I wonder whether the one by Moacyr Scliar is also good (what kind of name is that, anyway?).
