Mac Prey Demo Available!

Post by tallyl.iii » Sun Jan 14, 2007 11:48 am

Here!

I'm downloading it now. We'll see how it runs, but I'm really excited. I've heard lots of good stuff about this game.

While you're there, you might want to check out Galcon. It's about the simplest RTS game I've ever played, but incredibly addictive.

I've already played both. It's sad but I've played Galcon more then the Prey Demo.
When is Feral going to fix the The Movies demo?!
I noticed Feral has taken their sweet time with The Movies, and were far to liberal with release dates "June. No! July! No, August! Fourth Quarter! 2007!"

My advice: If you can just get the Windows version of it, get it, if you can't.. Well, sorry.

Update: Runs great on my Dual 1GHz iMac I just clicked detect and ran the game. It is on 1024x768 rather than the 1440x900 my screen is natively.

Holy shit this is a Great game! Gore is existent and needs to be a little more so i think... the Lighting is Brilliant like in most Quake games... I love the animations of the guns and all... I also like the sense of humor like in Duke Nukem 3D (well it was made by the same creators and I am impressed)

The engine is actually not Quake-4-ish, but Doom-3-ish. Doesn't make a big difference, but these are the facts. First Doom 3, then Quake 4, then Prey. All on the same engine. Blaghwalagh.

Well there all pretty good games...
I do find there is a lack of head shooting except with the mutants, but that dose not kill them outright.
