The Status of The World

Post by Phoenixwarrior141 » Wed Dec 04, 2013 12:50 am

-Google has taken over the internet

-Family Guy is ruined

-Valve still has yet to release anything with the number 3

-Overgrowth will not be released until 2014 (This might be the worst)

-EXALT was not awesome in XCOM Enemy Withing (EXALT FTW)

-I felt the desire to make this thread

-GTA 5 isn't on PC yet

-GTA 5 is under attack by aliens

(For Kerbals)- I decided to play KSP

-You are still reading this

-COD is still having games released

-Mario games still have a super engaging story

-Minecraft is $20 on PC

-I'm typing this in slow motion

-I didn't get to trample anyone on Black Friday

-I felt the desire to get the PS3 even though the PS4 has been released

- TF2 is still a superior game to Most Next Gen games

- You're still reading this

-I have to stop typing

I disagree wholly.

- The Netherlands is not a Triple-A country anymore.

- The world still suffers financial crisis.

- Bees start to become extinct, and yeah, that DOES pose a problem to Humanity.

- Nuclear winter has come. (Actually good news, as it is rumored to be a teaser site for the next Fallout installment.)

- Anime still exists.

- Mr. Green still exists.

- Electronic Arts still exists... :x

- Game Consoles still exists.

- I'm using too many smileys. :D

- We're still getting spammed! :|

Also AmorphousGamer if you don't know anything about XCOM (Or EXALT for that matter), you have much larger problems then this thread...

The only XCOM I know is the shitty remake of the amazing X-COM series.

By "the original" are you talking about XCOM: Enemy Unknown? That isn't the original, that's the shitty remake I'm talking about. X-COM: UFO Defence is the original, and it's a fucking amazing game.

Edit: I made a diagram for you. Image

So what's wrong with X-COM: Enemy Unknown?

The fact that I haven't played it yet. That's very bad.

Well, I mean . . . what made it shitty was not the game itself. It wasn't shitty, necessarily, alone. But the fact that they slapped the X-COM title on it made it . . . disappointing. It didn't live up to the name X-COM.

Hmm, guess I'll add my own

- Mysterious couriers are somehow tracking everyone in the lands.

- Horses move ridiculously fast

- Dragons love one hit killing people.

- Dogs like barking... oh yeah, and standing in people's way.

- Chickens appear to be considered holy creatures, and are protected by pretty much everyone.

- It's fun to kick/kill chickens.

- Even though there's snow, a lot of people seem to be fine running around half naked, with nothing but fur-padded steel leggings on.

- Food has no real use.

- The world sucks, and seems to be really glitchy. And life was clearly designed by a five year old sloth-monkey.

- The world is really addictive, and it's hard to refuse to live in it, despite how horribly stupid it is.

- I don't even play Skyrim anymore. I'm just bored and I couldn't think of any other games to parody.

You're mixing up Skyrim with the real world. :P

Aye, it's actually a bit of a let-down sometimes with the blatantly silly radiant quests and NPCs who can't solve their problems themselves for the sake of keeping you busy...
